When I travel for business releated reasons, I use my credentials to pass security since it is just easier to flip that open as opposed to pulling out the driver's license.

But as soon as tha tlook of confusion starts to cross the checker's face, I dig out the driver's license and try not to roll my eyes. I do not use the creds to impress, I use them for the sake of convienence.
