I am tired of getting dinged every time I board an American flight in Charlotte, NC about the size of my luggage. I fly every week and have use the same roll aboard for over 10 years now and suddenly it is too big. It fits well in the overhead compartments, it is smaller than other luggage that is brought on board but it is consistently picked out to be checked.

Tonight I put it in the sizer and, although it was tight, it fit. The gate agent demanded that it be checked because it was overstuffed. When I showed her the how the top of the bag would depress into it frame she let it on-board - where I saw other larger bags that probably got through while she was arguing with me.

Very frustrataing.
