HUGE FAIL for British airways for 36 passengers left behind on 6/2/16
My Daughter is headed to London today 6/2/16 in a group of 36 from Albuquerque through Dallas. They had a 3 hour layover on Dallas between American and British Airways flights. DFW prevented them from talking off in ABQ for over two hours due to weather issues in Dallas. They finally got to Dallas, ran to the BA gate, (arriving before the flight was scheduled to leave) but were prevented from boarding as the doors had been closed. Plane had NOT LEFT YET. This is 36 High School kids, 16, 17 and 18 with some adults. The gate women were Very Rude about how they were Late. They did not call the flight back to board this large group who had done Nothing wrong. We have since discovered that this flight #192 actually left EARLY! So, BA was missing 36 passengers. They knew the airport they were at had serious weather delays, they did not try to check that these 36 were arriving on a weather delayed flight... AND they intentionally left Early. This is inexcusable! Now the 36 have to sleep the night in JFK and have lost an entire day of their trip due to British Airways arrogance. British Airways is added to my Do Not Fly list with United Now. In reading other reviews, I have realized that this level of incompetence is not uncommon for BA.
