| In-flight Issues Did you experience any problems during an Continental Airlines flight? |

Besides the expected delays flying from LAX into Newark, my flight with Continental was absolutely atrocious!
It's been about 2 years since I've flown so lets take a look at the current picture: 1. Major World Recession 2. Ticket prices at all time HIGH 3. MEALS DISCONTINUED 4. NO MORE MOVIES - 6 bucks to watch garbage cable stations AND THE KICKER - the nasty flight attendants DID make a point to come around not once, not twice, but THREE times with beverages. Needless to say, having booked late and sitting in one of the last rows, I had people hovering over me and my wife for FOUR HOURS STRAIGHT waiting to use the ****ter. You could imagine the aroma wafting from the back of the plane........CONTINENTAL IS A TOTAL JOKE, AND THEY DESERVE TO FOLD AND MERGE WITH UNITED, AN EVEN WORSE AIRLINE. THE FLIGHT ATTENDANTS ARE POOR AT BEST, AND THE EMENITIES PROVIDED ARE COMPLETELY SUB-STANDARD. Once the flight was over and I was exiting the plane, I was able to convey my dissatisfaction to not only the fake smiley flight attendants wishing me a "merry xmas", but also the pilot himself, none of whom seemed interested in the least. The pilot actually finished my sentence for me when telling him about the hovering toilet goers. CONTINENTAL IS THE ****, LITERALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]()

so im not understanding the complaint. your ****** off at continental because YOU booked late so had to take basically the only seats available, people had to use the restroom and its all continentals fault because the flight attendants did their job by offering beverages, and those ****** flight attendants not only came through once or twice but 3 times to offer beverages. most people on here would complain because an airline would only come through once with a bev service from lax-ewr. ticket prices are not at an all time high, they are the lowest they have been in years (this accoring to travel agents/experts etc. i bought a round trip ticket for $173 and that includes a $40 baggage charge!) you obviously haven't flown in years. meals are served on international flight but most airlines do a buy on board or dont offer any meals....i usually bring my own snack. im still not really understanding a complaint except for a delay and with the weather out west or any where in the country it wouldn't surprise me

OP, You seem to be a complainer. What would you like the airline to do about the major world recession? Whether ticket prices are too high is debatable. I would have thought they are quite low compared with increases in other things. It is open to you to shop around for cheaper fares with other airlines or take the train or Greyhound. It is a free market and you the consumer are free to do what you want with your money. If meals are discontinued, go on an airline that serves meals. Yes I know there are none, unless you fly a higher class of service. Just bring your food on board. If you don't like the cable, just do something else. Get a magazine or book even a Bible and read it. You may learn about tolerance and don't describe people as nasty because they serve drinks three times. Since when is that an offence? |
