Flight 718 out of Kansas city
on May 13 2012 we were booked to leave out of Kansas city to Key west. The flight got delayed, 5 calls to customer service was a complete disaster with being disconnected, hung up on and just flat out lied to.
the employee tried to tell me that there was no way to contact the local delta office at my airport, one of them told me they could no problem and then gave me the phone number to a different airport, one person, Lisa, told me she was the only Lisa that worked at Delta airlines and that i could not speak to anyone else after i told her she was not being helpful and asked for her supervisor.
The flight got canceled while i was in line at the airport, we tried for 2 hours to get a resolution, Meloni at Kci airport on sunday after noon at 12:15 pm gate 59 was less than no help. she stated that she was busy with another flight and could not help anyone else, we would " have to go and find someone else to help"
going to miss 2 days of our family vacation now because of this.
I did have the ladie at the counter when checking in tell me the reason for the delay on the first flight was that it was an equipment issue, the issue being that not enough people had booked on the flight so they bumped everyone off of it, then cancelled the on they booked people too.
she stated it was a common practice.
