Default Could not get up

I showed up early to make sure I had a window seat for a 10 hour flight. Once I boarded, and was seated in the window seat. I was asked to move to the middle seat to let a mother with 7 month old baby have window seat.

Of course, I obliged. The problem started when the attendant attached a baby cot to the wall in front of us. I had the tv folded out from my seat, and could not unfold the tv without it hitting the baby cot. I could not move from my seat, not even stand in place since the tv was over my lap.

I can't believe this would be legal, to put a passenger in a position of not being able to move. This is dangerous, to not allow one to get their blood flowing or use the bathroom.

This happened with Korean Air, but I bought the ticket with Delta, it's partner. I have not complained to the airline yet, but I would like to. What are the best ways of reporting this issue? Is this legal? Thanks.

If you had asked for assistance to move and the FA had declined to assist you, then you could potentially have a case, particularly if you then developed DVT. However, the law expects you to mitigate the impact of any impediment. It is incumbant upon you to make known to the staff your discomfort and asked to be accommodated. I don't think if you "suffer in silence" for the whole journey, and the airline was placed in a position of not being given the opportunity to remedy the situation they are likely to have any liability.

If however the impediment continued during the landing phase then they would almost certainly have been breaching regulations, as it is not permitted to block your means of egress.
