Having booked at what seemed a competitive price a family holiday to Australia withy transfer in Shanghai, we thought all was fine. To be honest for the most part it was. But being the veggie in the family, I phoned edreams 2 months before departure on an expensive landline to ensure that my food option was included. However, on a long haul of 4 fligghts with more than one meal needed, the message did not get through and the airline was bemused, though as helpful as they could be.
When I returned, I tried taking it up with them but for two months they did not respond then i got an offer of £20 discount on any future flight I boked with them, Spend £3000 and get £20 off - wow! They did not accept how cynical they were and in inquiring, there is nothing to hold them to account, only word of mouth. I survived, but their lack of responsibility in a situation where you cannot take yor own food on board for someone who cannot go without a proper well balanced protein meal is worrying and their amateurish approach means I'd give eDreams a wide berth in fture. |

e-Dreams are a highly disreputable company and you were lucky to only have this as your major problem. I would have been nervous if the airline even recognised your ticket.

I agree, but for a percentage of travellers - diabetics, people on special diets, halal, kosher etc they could starve on a long haul going by edreams. But yes, seeing on thbis and other sites what people have suffered with edreams, it appears small, but I also wished to point out their contremptuous after sales service (what after sales service, you ask)

Yes do not buy anything from Edreams. Do not even visit their site. Otherwise you will suffer and loose your money. I am just contributing to the discussion in this thread as a victim of Edreams and I believe that this company should not be allowed to continue commercial activity. Soon I shall submit a detailed complaint about Edreams starting a separate thread in this website. Edreams has no respect towards business ethics, international commercial traditions, established unwritten rules of honest business practices and what not. Consumer sites are filled with complaints against Edreams and yet no authority seems to be able to stop them. Readers of this site will soon see another story of how Edreams swallows money of innocent victims.
