Warning don't fly US Airways if you want or expect customer service.

Today my wife was flying from Frankfurt to San Antonio via Philly. Due to a head wind across the Atlantic her flight was delayed.

Her flight from Philly to San Antonio was scheduled to depart at 18:00. She got to the gate at 17:55 but the door was closed.

I just talked to her, She's in tears and she's not getting home tonight .

The people on the 1st flight were told that they would hold the connecting flights. This is a common practice, I've been on several United flights where we've waited for International passengers.

I just can't believe they would not hold the flight for just a few minutes or open the door.

US Airways and American have joined making them the largest WORST airline in the world.

Indeed. This is ludicrous. I mean, US Airways is without a doubt the most heartless airline in the world for this practice. I would choose a different one because I'm sure they would hold a flight.
