Etihad decide to cancel a route 2 weeks before Easter
Booked flight for my wife from Geneva to Cambridge in February after press campaign made me aware. Then, two weeks before departure (Easter), a matter of fact email arrives from Etihad advising flight cancelled. No explanation. Turns out whole route is removed. Need to find alternate route at MUCH higher flight costs than were in February. Wrote to Etihad asking for compensation to ensure no loss (even though much more inconvenience). Their replies are laughable by pretending to completely ignore the request. As a frequent international flyer, this compensation would have been a small price to pay for the loss of my profitable business flights, as well as those of my many fellow flyers.
