On the 18th December 2015 my wife, daughter and I (At the start of a one month holiday in the USA) flew on Delta Airlines flight DL2262 which departed Los Angeles at 2.05 pm. Upon arrival at JFK in New York City none of our checked in baggage was found. We spent approximately two hours at their lost luggage counter trying to locate it to no avail and we even missed our transfer which we had prepaid. We were then told to keep phoning the company for updates which we did for the first week of our holiday every day. At no time during our communications with Delta did anyone display a level of compassion or competence in fact the staff even refused to contact LAX to see if the luggage was still at the airport. In short we only had what we were wearing and had to replace everything at great cost. To this day they are still to locate our luggage.
Strongly suggest you avoid Delta!
