Default Surprised that Etihad business class service has degraded so much

My comments are about travel between HYD and ORD, round trip.
I myself have had great experience with Etihad business class service.
I thought it is superior to the business class of all American and European airlines.
The flight attendants keep the bathrooms fresh and clean and were extremely nice.
Until recently, I thought Etihad was one of the best airlines and had great food.. some of the best I have enjoyed on board any airlines!

My mother, 80 years old, also had travelled via EY in 2015 and 2014, business class and she also liked it very much..
Until this trip. During this trip:
(EY) - 277 HYD - AUH 9:45 PM Wednesday 27 April 2016

My mother made the following comment: My mother could not figure out how to buckle up the seat belt - and the stewardess was rude and arrogant that she had to help my mother.
When meals were ready, the stewardess asked my mother to open the tray table and my mother could not figure it out. Again, the stewardess was very rude and angry at my mother.
As the flight was about to land, the passengers were asked to raise the window blinds... Again, my mother, because of her age, could not do it.. and again the stewardess was mad at my mother.

On the second sector, Flight - Etihad Airways (EY) - 151 Thursday 28 April 2016

my mother said that she was asleep when they were serving meals. After waking up, she asked for a meal but was given two slices of bread and a glass of cold milk. When she landed, she said she as hungry because she didn't get much food.

This is despicable service and my mother said she would not travel on Etihad again!

I had been telling my friends that I believe that Etihad's service was among the best in the world.. That is why I am so shocked! Is it because I am usually dressed well,in a business suit, even during my travel and my 80 year old mother is not very well dressed.. she wears an Indian saree.. Is it that the stewardesses had Bias?

I know Etihad tries to give excellent service; hence I thought I should mention this. I hope someone takes the time to look into the two stewardesses on the first flight..
