Etihad did not honor tickets bought on their website. I bought a roundtrip ticket on the Etihad website for my wife and myself to fly from Ahmedabad India to Sao Paulo Brazil. On the return flight on Feb 29, 2016 they told us that we could not board the flight to Ahmedabad since we did not have yellow fever shots. We had flown this segment before with other airlines without yellow fever shots. They would not let us fly flight EY 8730 which we had bougt and paid for.

They forced us to spend USD$ 1,168 more and fly through Mumbai EY 190 and ET 206 and did not honor or giving a refund for our purchased ticket . We were not asked for proof of the yellow fever shot in Mumbai or Ahmedabad like they said we would be. We have never ever been asked to prove that we had a yellow fever shot coming into Mumbai or Ahmedabad. NEVER FLY ETIHAD as you cannot trust them to honor their tickets. I have tried communicating with Etihad directly but no help from them.
