After the 1 hour flight from Manila to Puerto Princesa, the pilot aborted the landing and returned to Manila. According to the airline this happened due to "windy conditions" and claimed that was "force majeure", and they therefore have NO obligations towards the passangers. We were left to spend the night on the floor of Terminal 3 in Manila airport. Being put on a standby list for the next day.
I thought force majeure was something far more severe than windy conditions. I have contacted the airline and they just repeat that they are following the law in the Philippines. Are they really doing that? |

This is what I found on the Government of the Philippines web site @ http://www.gov.ph/summary-of-the-rig...air-passengers
You should have been fed You should have been put on another Airline if possible You could have under the law demanded a refund or Boarded the flight after the delay For more info refer to the Web site provided |
