Seat Allocation Not Respected
On the 19/10/2017 I purchased a return ticket SYD-BUE-SYD with Air New Zealand, leaving Sydney on the 16/03/2018, which is next friday. I also purchased all seats for all flights. Since I have a medical condition, I purchased at ninety (90) Australian dollars each seat 50A for both AKL-BUE-AKL because I need extra room for my legs. I have the confirmation receipt that I printed on my computer. For the last couple of months I've been checking to see if everything was ok with my booking but I noticed that all seats were confirmed, except the AKL-BUE journey. I called Air New Zealand on several occasions asking why they would not show my seat on that flight. I never got a straight answer. All they were telling me is that they couldn't give me an answer because they just didn't know. Now, today, I received an email from Air New Zealand letting me know that my seat will be 47K instead of the 50A that I purchased. I am very disappointed at their lack of respect towards the needs of their passengers. I've flown with them on several occasions but the way they disregard my purchased made me very annoyed towards their service. The flight that I am referring to is the NZ30 from AKL to BUE. I hope potential passengers will read this letter so, in the future, will be aware of the disregard they show towards their passengers. Thank you.
