Help please on how to get compensation - I am marooned in Lima airport at the moment as AA have cancelled the Lima - Miami flight. The ground staff seem to be completely hopeless and we had to queue for 3 hrs to get to the desk to look at options even when we pointed out we had 2 international connections to get - which meant that we missed the only option we could have had today. The ground staff seem hopeless and the hotel they have put us in is charging us for bottled water (every other hotel has given us complementary water as the local water is not drinkable)
Any help appreciated as i am hopping mad and cant get any help from anyone Emma |

I think before you can start talking about compensation, you might wanna get to your next destination first, ultimately your final destination. You're crying compensation when you have not left the airport. what is the cause of cancellation? The airline won't do anything about the water at the hotel, believe me. The vouchers they give only cover the room that's it. AA is usually pretty when it comes to getting anything from them, but if you are persistent, you might get lucky.
