I tried to book a flight from Sacramento, Ca., to Jackson, Ms. this weekend.
The reservationist at Southwest booked me to Jacksonville, Fla. after asking me three times my destination.

When she was confirming my reservation, I caught the error when she read off Jacksonville. She promptly cancelled that flight, and posted a refund.

What happened then is a nightmare beginning that still is not finsihed.

I cannot book my flight to Jackson, Ms. now, because it will take 7-10 days for SW to refund my money. My account is therefore short the necessary funds to make my new, and proper reservation to Jackson.

After calling everyone that I can possibly get in touch with, including Jim Ruppel, the person listed as VP, Customer Realtions, on the SW website, I have found that there is nothing that they can do, and I will just have to borrow the funds from someone else, or wait to go see my wife when SW decides to refund my money. Jim Ruppel was out of the office for the week, by the way, with no one to take his calls. Some Customer Relations, Huh?

SO, if you really need to go somewhere, don't fly these guys. They will leave you stranded while they use your money to do other things for a week or so.
