BMIBABY - I have been trying to book flights from the UK to Spain online with this airline for the past 2 days. Once the flights are selected the page defaults saying they are experiencing problems and asks that a telephone number is provided for someone to call back. This was done and I received a call from a call centre in INDIA!!! Is this a scam? The flight costs increased by nearly 40% in the time I have been trying to book.

I would look elsewhere. If it is not a scam, it is just shoddy service. Try EasyJet.. They are generally pretty good.

Did a little digging. BMIbBy have been changing their website architecture to have more transparent pricing. In future they will display the full price of flights up front, so there are no unexpected "extras" at the end. This created some technical problems which is why you got this message. It is not a scam and it may be that the price difference simply the difference between the old stripped down price and the new more transparent price.
