Hi everyone... My name is Idriss and i am going to tell you a big problem that happend with my girlfriend when she booked a flight with Etihad Airways
The flight was from Taiwan to Morocco.. She was supposed to meet me on June 19th and she left her country on June 18th and the first stop was in bangkok... The first flight from Taiwan to bangkok was fine because she didnt took the Etihad airways yet and the stop in bangkok was for changing airplanes and when it was time to take the 2nd flight ( Etihad ) they, of course , asked her to show her visa document and her visa was 100% legal ( because moroccan visa for taiwananese is only one paper like a proof that this passenger can got into morocco to apply visa in the airport !! It's the law so it was legal ) but Etihad refused her and kept saying that she have to get the legal Visa... My girlfriend was trying her best to make them understand that she had the legal paper, she made calls she told them to check it online and they will see that she is right but it seems that Etihad customer service is the worst on earth !!!! They didnt want to do anything not even make one call or go to check about it !! they didnt care about anything she said all what they kept saying is " YOUR VISA IS ILLEGAL AND WE CANT ACCEPT YOU " !!!! so she was stock in bangkok for almost 1 week ( sleeping in the airport and in hotel that she paid for it of course ) and she also went to the moroccan ambassy in bangkok and told them her problem and they said that her visa was legal and she can get to morocco to apply the real one there and they even gave her an official paper saying that she can get to morocco with that kind of visa but they still dont care and still cant accept her.. and then she tried to change the airlines company and she tried with Emirates ... In the begining they also told her this visa is illegal but when she told them check about it online and show them the official paper from the moroccan ambassy they finally accepted her and she got her flight to morocco But the big problem was she had to pay for a new flight ticket with Emirates not change the old one from Etihad to Emirates like everyone do and why she didnt that because : ETIHAD DIDNT WANT TO !!! THEY DIDNT WANT HER TO CHANGE OR CANCEL HER FLIGHT SO NOOO MONEY BACK ( more than 1500 euro ) So in the end she paid another 1500 euro or more !!!!!!!! and the other flight with Etihad was gone same as the money So i request from Etihad customer if they can read this msg to check about it and they will see that this problem really happend in Bangkok in June 18th, 18th,20th and if they want the flight details i can send it to them in a private message.... ALSO I SUGGEST EVERYONE TO NEVER EVER CHOOSE OR FLIGHT WITH ETIHAD BECAUSE YOU WILL GET LOTS OF PROBLEMS AND THEY WONT SOLVE ANYONE FOR YOU Sorry for my bad english and for the long message Idriss |

Reference Amadeus : 6E2KZV, Airline : EY / HOQVKM (BUSINESS CLASS).
Issue : Promised Limo drop at arrival (SFO) NO ONE SHOWS UP !!! Left stranded. Complained online on 9th Oct via mail to feedback@etihad.ae Until the 14th of Oct, did not get EVEN an acknowledgement !!! How unfortunate is that - and that too from an airline that brags about topping the charts in customer service... SUCH A FARCE. |
