We moved from MD to OR and on our final flight out of town our dog was not allowed to travel. We followed all requirements, which were told to us in error by American Airlines customer service. We were not told about specific weather exception paperwork and we were told the wrong drop off location and process. Now bc the weather has dropped below the allotted travel temperature, we cannot bring our dog to OR. We have to wait. This is costing us money for dog care and will require we fly across country to retrieve the dog AND pay to get another travel exam that must be done within a few days of travel. We have provided a complaint to American Airlines via email, phone and Twitter and have received no response.
