Default Delayed bag sent to United College Station, TX. No delivery,call and no one there!!!

Except for the complete failure to your agents in College Station to deliver as instructed or even call when the bad arrived 11 AM next day (Sat), all was excellent. At 1:30 PM I drove to the airport and found United Counter CLOSED AND NO ONE THERE!!!!. Next flight at 8:45 PM!~!! I had urgent items in bag and finally convinced airport security office to call United employee at home. Gabriel arrived and retrieved bag in locked United office at check in counter.

I am filing complaint with United CEO and FAA.

Joseph M. Chernow CPA/ABV, age 72 and First Class passenger on flight yesterday from ORD to IAH arriving 5PM.File Ref IAHUA43879.

i understand the complaint (small UA stations only have employees there when flights arrive or depart) however shouldnt you really also give a thanks to the employee that DID come in on her (what could be) time off, day off, break time etc to help you out? I love how most people love to feed the negatives but never want to thank an employee or company for a positive. just saying...why

one more quick question...if those items were so urgent, why didnt you carry them on?

The employee was thanked and generously tipped by me.

I think his boss should be fired for not arranging delivery delivering or calling while there was staff present when he was instructed in writing to do so by United Houston Baggage Service.
