US Airways pretty much left me and my 11 year old sun stranded.
I had purched two round trip tickets from Pittsburgh to Ft. Lauderdale for me and my son. The return flight from Ft. Lauderdale was schedualed to leave at 5am and I decided to see if I can get us on a later flight so my son could get more sleep than a few hours. When I called US Airways they told me that I had to go through American Express because they are who I went through when I bought the tickets. I called American Express and they tried unccessfully to get us on a later flight. US Airways said that they couldn't put us on a later flight because we were going to be on a United flight and they are the ones that needed to be contacted. United was saying that they couldn't change the flight and that we needed to talk to US Airways. US Airways and United would not budge on the issue so I was forced to buy new tickets with a different airline. By the time all this was over 5am had come and gone, and the American Express agent was left frustratedly saying she has never seen anything like this before from and airline.
