DELTA WEB SITE FOR BOOKING TRAVEL/HOTELS IS A NIGHTMARE!
I booked travel for my self and business associate in May 2007 for travel in June. Since that day it has been a nightmare. We cancelled one ticket because my associate had a stroke. I cancelled our hotel rooms at the same time. I fought with delta and they finally refunded the airfare, but the hotel room that is booked through some out-of-this-country 3rd party and they barely speak English. Try as I may, even using the dispute services of American Express I cannot get these folks to refund the reservations that were cancelled a week before arrival, with the confirmation numbers of the cancellations, and repeated calls and letters to same. I will never, ever use the Delta web site for travel again. I would rather have my travel agent help me avoid these unnecessary aggrivations. :evil:
