British Airways get away with "murder"
My luggage with all my medication did not arrive with me and I was told it would be on the next flight out and transported to a ship on which we were taking a cruise. This never happened and, despite information given to the ship that it would be arriving at this port, the next port and so on, I never got my luggage until 6 days after my return from an 11 day holiday. BA compensated me for the necessary clothes and toiletries I had to buy but absolutely refused to acknowledge the stress and frustration caused and the fact that they had completely ruined our holiday. Because of the promises to deliver almost every other day, I was unable to buy as much as I needed on the first day because they wouldn't compensate me for clothes purchased unnecessarily. So instead of enjoying the sites of each country visited, we were traipsing round the shops trying to find suitable items which, as everyone knows, in a foreign country is not easy. I would like to take them to court but I don't think I would have a leg to stand on against such a big company and they do have terms and conditions which will probably not be overruled. They are completely uncaring and unempathetic. I will only fly with them again if there is no alternative option.
