Default Mistreatment and negligence towards elderly and disabled passengers by China Southern

Passenger had return ticket from delhi to Guangzhou to SFO and return. Passenger boarded Delhi to Guangzhou flight. After getting off at Guangzhou, passenger was not provided with wheelchair as booked. Wheelchair was provided only later. The passenger became uncomfortable. The passenger never was bought to the hospital. The passenger was only seen by 2 nurses who did nothing except recharge the oxygen concentrator. Passenger was denied boarding on June 9 to SFO. They were left stranded at the airport and not giving any hotel and mistreated as elderly & disabled people. They only gave a hotel after complaining (after 8-11 hours). CZ next day took the passenger to a small clinic & then CZ also did not let them board the flight to LAX even though they had the FAA approved oxygen concentrator and also had spoke with the airline/agent for oxygen when booking the ticket.


That is when the mental and physical agony started. They again escorted them to the hotel and CZ said they would arrange the oxygen on the aircraft. They were left at the hotel for 3 whole days. They were provided only 1 meal on the first day. They were repeatedly forced to ask to pay the hotel charges or they would call the police. They were not provided any meal after that. They were not allowed to call anywhere. They were repeatedly asked to sign some papers and when they refused, the staff threatened them repeatedly and mistreated them. After 3 days, the passengers were forcefully escorted to the airport and not allowed to board the SFO/LA flight (neither buy another ticket to SFO via another airline). They were forced to board the plane to Delhi after forcefully making them sign the papers and further mistreating them and putting their life in threat. The signed paper clearly states that he was forced to sign it.


Why did CZ not allow Savitri Srivastava to fly to SFO.


Because of this harassment and strain, passenger's condition became worse. Although CZ had extra oxygen on the aircraft and CZ refused to provide him the oxygen. After which the people on the plane said either give the oxygen or make an emergency landing. CZ decided to make an emergency landing. There at Guiyang the passengers were totally mistreated and people tried to extort money. Only after the US Embassy was called, they were put on a domestic flight back to Guangzhou. After that they again send them back to Delhi.


When the flight landed in Delhi, the CZ staff again mistreated them, forced them to sign papers again.


I would request you to take strict action against CZ for mistreating the passengers and for the negligence for elderly and disabled people. They have been traveling quite frequently from delhi to sfo via many other airlines, but they have not seen this type of mistreatment and negligence towards elderly and disabled people.
