In November, I booked a flight for my husband and I from LaGuardia to Grand Cayman Islands for a destination wedding to be held mid July. For the two tickets, I paid $902.50. When I re-checked on the flight this week, I discovered that the price went down by about $300.00 When I called and asked for a refund or at least a credit for future flights, I was told that it would cost $400 for me to change to the new lower fare. Are they kidding? Of course it is not worth my while to do that. When I recently had the same thing happen to me on Southwest Airlines, they graciously offered a credit towards future flying. Now thats a good business practice. Sorry American, I will do my best to never fly your airline again!!
