Hong Kong Airlines Baggage Damage
On 2nd. June 2016 my Family and me took the flight HX238 from Hong Kong to Shanghai. In Hong Kong we were forced to check in our baggage which we took as Hand luggage few days before from Shanghai to Hong Kong with us in the cabin. It was a postal roll with a oversize Foto, very light and small in Diameter (about 5cm), but with a length of over 1m too Long to bring into the cabin according to the check in staff. We insist to take it into cabin because of sensitive Content but were forced to check it in. Staff even put sticker handle with care but upon Arrival in Shanghai the package was totally damaged outside and Picture inside irrecoverable damaged. At Airport in Shanghai nobody could help us but just give us E-Mail of Hong Kong Airlines Service. On 3rd. June I wrote a Mail to this address and just on 30st. June I got an answer from Brian asking for Pictures, baggage tag number, passport copy and so on. I was just happy because seams to be someone is listening to my complaint. Even on same day I got another mail from Gary asking for some missing Information. I send also the requested missing Information.
Now after more then 3 month later and 3-4 reminder E-Mail from me to the Hong Kong Airlines baggage Service no more Feedback from them. Nothing!
What a Service !
