Default AA representatives directing me to a hot porn line @ 1-800-222-2337

I called AA today because I found out that my ticket price has dropped 79.5 dollars but calling aa only upsetted me more. I was treated with very disrespectful agents not only transferring me from this agent to another but ONE particular agent gave me to phone number to a very inappropriate number 1800-222-2337 (and yes its a porn line!). I'm pretty sure I didn't copy the number wrong cause i repeated the number to the agent and she said it was correct. So maybe AA should hire agents who can speak proper english or have some respect to their gold member customers or else what's the point of travelling with AA when other airlines are cheaper and have better service. SO after getting the wrong number i called again but once again i got disrespect and the new representive did NOT even bother give me the correct number in fact she ignored what i said. I dont think i deserve this crap i got from that agent, and the agents, as well as from aa for the disrespect and feeling of being offended.

AA.com support's toll-free number is 1-800-222-2377. So they messed up one digit on the phone number. Is it AA's fault that a porn-line has a very similar number? Give them a break. They're only human and mistakes happen. You are making way too much fuss over a simple mistake.

Did you ultimately get the price adjustment for the fare difference? I know AA would give a voucher if the price of a non-refundable fare dropped but so many airlines now charge the re-issue fee to do that so the difference would have to be more than the change fee, usually $150, to make it worthwhile.

I am normally pro consumer, but don't you think you are being a little oversensitive about this issue? We are all adults.. it is just a mistake. If you feel that you should be entitled to go through life without ever being offended, then you are going to be sorely disappointed. I think you are a bit fragile to be honest, even if she gave you the wrong number, it is clearly very close, so was just a simple mistake. I would let it go!

Kind of like ATA. I could never remember if their res number was 800 I FLY ATA or 800 2 FLY ATA. I would call them to list as standby and inevitably I would call the wrong one, which was a porn line.

As for this case, they made a mistake. As said, it's one number wrong. I doubt they did the on purpose.
