Default Overweight(Etihad)

Hello anyone
For the first time, I would like to say sorry about my English. It may annoy you while you reading this story.
I had bad experience with Etihad airline. I booked the ticket in my country from the agency. I got 30kg for luggage because holder a student visa. I had flight with Etihad in December. When I checked in at
Manchester airport, they allowed just 23kg. Finally, I paid £440 for overweight. I tried to
show my ticket which it showed 30kg. But they said that this ticket is printed
incorrectly. What a bloody service. I remember that i went back to my country in
October. I asked them about the weight of luggage. They told me that you got 30kg for the next flight (in December). I was so upset with this airline and i really didn't like service in Manchester airport especially Etihad airline. It seems like they didn't want to service foreigner as me. Thank you for reading.

Regards,
Anne

Keep a copy of the ticket, which is your contract. File a complaint with Small Claims in Manchester. You can do this online here...

https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/web/mcol/welcome

YOU WILL GET YOUR MONEY BACK and the cost of filing the court claim. The courts will enforce the contract written on the ticket. If the airline advised you this was the limit, bit must abide by this. You are a fool if you let this go.

Jimworcs, I have some difficulty understanding how you can call someone a fool just like that without provocation.

Did you have a bad Christmas ?

Had a good Christmas thanks Houstonflyer, but it looks as if you may have imbibed a bit too much and your ability to read basic English has been affected. My statement did not call anyone a fool.. it was conditional...
