I was flying from chicago to Eau Claire Wisconsin. I just arrived from North carolina. THe flight was canx do to weather, however it was determined it was cancelled do to it was only 50% booked, A flight going to the next airport over east by 50 miles with the same type airplane wasnt. United flew myself and wife to minneapolis where they would nt pay for transportation to my Destination of eau clare wiscsonin. a 100.00 van ride. the customer service agent at United Ohara said that will not fly me to Eau Clare , She even didnt know where ear claire was, and they wouldnt even provide me with rental car or bus ride home. I was just stuck. United is subsidies by the federal government to fly into eau clare. What a waste on our money. to add insult to all of thiis they would even provide a meal ticket I told them I was Diabetic and they said it united airlines policy not provide meal tickets for flight delay under 5 hours. So why would you fly United ,the worst airlines in the world.

Weather is frustrating for all involved but if you have a ticket for EAU (or anywhere) your airline is obligated to get you there, albeit late or not.
