Delta Air Lines is charging me $150 to break a contract/cancel a flight for a ticket I purchased. When Delta Air Lines recently canceled one of my other flights/broke their contract they would only compensate me with $100 voucher. This is not okay especially after sitting in the airport for 9 hours. If Delta charges their customers a $150 fee for canceling/breaking a contract then they should match that same fee, dollar for dollar, when they do the same thing. When I spoke with a Delta representative on the phone she was very argumentative and seemed to think this was unreasonable because they did rebook me 9 hours later. This does not make it okay. My time was wasted in the airport for 9 hours and I lost out on a day's worth of pay.

The contracts between the airlines and the passenger are utterly one sided and unreasonable. You are better off flying someone like Southwest. Transparent and a lot less devious than the heinous Delta.

9 hr delay seems like more than $100. Why was your flight delayed? Also why were you flying back on the day you had to work?
