Have to throw away $300 thanksgiving gift for nothing
I got to the check bag counter at 5:15 to check my carry-on bag for domestic flight after the lady at the check point ask me to and I was gladly obey and try to be nice and coorperative, The lady at the check-in baggage counter told me it's too late and I have to check it at least "1 hour before the flight", i never got this problem with other flight before I know that it should be at least 30mins, anyway after I ask for changing the flight because I just bought $365 skincare product as a gift for thanksgiving , she told me that I have to pay panalty at leat 150-200$ and I need to go to the ticket counter instead and after i ask for help she say either i throw my gift away or pay the fee and get another flight, so i decided to throw my gifft away and it's already 5:50 that i have to cut another people line for the second check at the check point and get all the dirty looks from other passangers, I got to the gate at 5:55 and the stwardess told me the cabin was full and they would have to check my bag instead!!!! I complained to her and she say that i have to talk to the baggage check staffs. This was the worst airline staffs i ever known, no one really wants to help, never heard of 1 hours before flight checked bags before and i fly with other airlines and they can check my bag even 25 mins before flight.This is at least 45 minutes and instead of telling your royal customers a "NO" and then let them wait and CAN check their bag at the last minutes before flight and especially after I have to throw away my expensive gift. The airline SHOULD at least serve better than this, I even think it might be because i'm asian so i got a bad service or something and I would never recommand this airline to any of my friends or family ever again!!!
