You have to pay twice?
I am disappointed and outraged. I purchased tickets for my wife and I to visit our grandchildren for Christmas. Due to a family illness, my wife had to go early. OK, no complaint, I bought a one way ticket and called Continental to suspend the first leg of her itinerary, but told the agent she would be returning AS SCHEDULED WITH NO CHANGE. Continental policy is that it IS a change and that it would cost an additional $350.00 to use the ticket I had already paid $499.00 to purchase. That's inexcusable. Further, I had requested an upgrade to first class using my One Pass miles. We didn't get the upgrade (wait list, as I expected). However, I was told that it would cost $75.00 to get the UNUSED points back! If it seems like I am shouting.....I AM. On top of everything, I was able to buy a new ticket on Southwest for $129. Why would I ever do business with Continental again? Shame on them.
