Exclamation Poor IT Systems

I contacted customer service to try an get a ticket number for a flight I was on 2 weeks ago, so I could get United miles, as the ticket number is not printed on the e-ticket. The representative could not give it to me because there IT systems can go back more than 2 days after the flight. So I have no way of getting the number, or my reward miles.

Thanks US Airways.

if you still have your boarding pass its on there. i always keep mine that way if i dont see the miles in my account i just do it online. also often you can go back into your reservation after so many days and it should be there too. if you kept your boarding pass stub you can also send it in

Cortney: Thanks for your reply. My boarding pass was a paper e-ticket. It is not printed on there. I wish US Airways would have printed the flight number on it, but they did not. This ticket was purchased through a travel agency that my company works with. I just received an email from this company with my flight details, and the number was not in there either. I was 1 of 1,000 people flying to an event. I will try going back to the company that booked it for me. My aggravation with US Airways is that in today's computer driven era, it seems absurd that their IT systems can't go back 2 weeks to find a simple piece of data. It makes me now question the systems in the aircrafts and safety. Overall, it' not a good brand experience.

It is ludicrous to question the safety of the systems on their aircraft because your boarding pass didn't have your ticket number on. Do you think US airways design their own aircraft? I have seen some stupid comments on here, but yours takes the biscuit!
