Default TigerAirways

I booked flights with tiger airways for 3 people on the 25th of January with travel dates being September 21st, 2008.

On the 22nd of August, i cancelled one person's booking (my mum's) because she was too ill to travel (This is a month before that scheduled flights).

They told me that I would receive a refund within 21 days. I went on the trip and returned on the 4th of October, 2008 and still did not get a refund. Called them on the same day (melbourne Office) and they said that they could see it in the system but wasn't sure why no refund was received. called again on the 10th of October and spoke to a Liza who could not see anything in the system.

Now, they are saying that it will take another 21days. I wanna advise people that when travelling with Tiger, beware that they are good at taking money but not returning what doesn't belong to them.

I will put an official complain about them to high authorities but for now, I would advise travellers to book with well reputed airlines, they do charge more money but their service is good and they don't lie about what's recorded in their system

I just posted a complaint about Tiger Airways as well, unfortunately your not alone in your frustrations with this airline. I agree I think they lie about things. If you get a name of someone high up (good luck!) please let me know through my post, just type in Tiger Airways to see my complaint. Good luck!!
