Default THIRD of FOUR problems with the same ticket

Here is a copy of the text I sent to Delta. I cannot believe the way Delta is treating their customers!!!

This is the THIRD of FOUR problems/complaints I have about this ticket purchase. The two men for whom I purchased this ticket were denied boarding access because the flight was overbooked. The ticket agent at the counter charged each of these men $99.30 (USD) CASH for a ticket change. WHY DID YOU CHARGE THESE TWO MEN FOR A PROBLEM CREATED BY DELTA AIRLINES? WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH YOU PEOPLE?

The first passenger cannot work because his hands were melted at the age of two when a woman plunged them into a pot of boiling rice. He is coming to America because Shriner's Hospital has donated reconstructive surgery. The other man is a pastor, a student at a university, and the manager of the orphanage where the first passenger lives. The second passenger does not make more than $100 a year, yet DELTA charged each of these men $99.30 to have their tickets changed! THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!

As posted in a previous complaint (and on AirlineComplaints.org and now the BBB, and the local TV station who has already offered to do a feature on these men coming to America for assistance), Delta offered NO compensation for overbooking the flight and bumping these men to a flight 3 days later. Delta added insult to injury by charging these men for Delta's mistake. THIS IS INEXCUSABLE. WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH DELTA AIRLINES?

Today Nina at customer service said a refund check will be sent to me. The financial refund is not the point. The point is that Delta Airlines bilked these two men and thought they could get away with it. (I called Nina to ask why I was charged $187.16 in international fees for the purchase of these tickets. (That problem was solved by Bank of America.) If I had not called Delta about this, I would not have learned about the ticket change fee.)

Delta Airlines misled me about flight credit when purchasing these tickets, lied to me about flight availability after the tickets were purchased, robbed these two passengers of more than 2 years' wages, and failed to keep their word regarding your on-line price guarantee (which is the 4th complaint I will file with Delta, AirlineComplaints.org, and the BBB.)

Please tell me why I should fly with Delta and why I should say anything positive to anyone about Delta Airlines? I fly internationally at least twice a year, but with other airlines. I will be flying internationally twice again this year. Is there any reason I should fly with Delta?
