I think it is about time - DELTA - does something about ASA - both in ATL and MEM.
Here goes.... Flight departs 4:10 delayed till 4:27.... 4:50... still at the gate waiting to board... was the departure time updated... NOPE! still showed 4:27... finally started boarding at 4:55 This happens almost every flight, they expect us to just stand there until they decide when we can board. The worst part is, they never update the actual departure time. Us passangers are told to be at the gate 30 mins prior to departure, which is fine and understandable. But as the scenerio above, I was at the gate at 3:30pm for the 4:10 departure and STOOD there waiting for an hour and a half. The plane was at the gate so I know it was a "Waiting for the Crew to arrive" type thing again. It would certainly help if ASA, PINACLE and ComAir were held to the same standards as Delta. Take a normal Delta MAIN Flight and everything goes according to plan most times. So besides what I really call ASA, I'll use the nice phrase Always Standing Again....... It would be a benefit to all of us if they would at least put up the right departure time as the flight is delayed and delayed and delayed again..... |
