Southwest hands out drink coupons...I don't drink so when I fly I give them out to the people around me. The last time I went on a flight I handed them out as usual when I heard a flight attendant respond, "Oh we don't accept that kind anymore."

Since I was the one who had given it to the guy I asked her why. She responded, "Oh we just don't accept them now. We only accept the ones that have a name on them. It says that on the back...we can refuse to accept them at any time"

Seriously Southwest! You gave the coupons out let people use them! Why do you care what they look like or whether or not they have a person's name on them?

Perhaps the old ones were too easy to counterfeit? Perhaps they were being bartered/sold on eBay/Craigslist?
