Continental mess up my vacation
I wanted to contact you to let you know about my bad experiance I had my last trip on continental to Lima Peru First my flight was schedule for 11/16/11 and without notice, (I found out when I checked my flight on the internet and the connection flights where overlapping) they changed part of my flight Miami to Houston to a day before 11/15/11 and that created problems at my job, and when we got to Houston with 7 pieces of luggage (which got lost at Houston and it took me and other passengers 1 hr to find) and 3 carryons I had to check them out of Houston's airtport and come back with all of that weight the next day for the other part of my trip, Houston to Lima it was a nightmare, I flew with a 3 year old, which we had to take care as well, the hotel continental got us was overbooked as well, it was 1am when we got a room, at that time there was no restaurants open so we did not eat since we left Miami. When I tough my problems were over My return trip, Lima to Miami via Houston, at the counter in Lima I asked if we were ok on the connection flight Houston to Miami which had 1 hr difference and she said it was ok. We arrived at Houston and it took 1hr 1/2 to clear customs and pick our luggage and go to the next flight, we checked our luggage and the flight left without us continental put us on the next flight and arriving in Miami we had to look for our luggage that arrived on the previous flight. Well It was awful, we were almost 1 day between airports when we arrived to Miami. I hope no other custumer passes what we had to experiance
