Bahamas Air rips you off
I was on a Bahamas Air flight out of Freeport that got delayed 3 hours due to mechanical issues. I finally made it to Ft. Lauderdale 3+ hours late, having missed my connection to Jamaica. I got stuck in Ft. Lauderdale overnight and had to re-purchase my flight to Jamaica which I was swore would be reimbursed by Bahamas Air. Once home, I followed all the procedures I was told to follow in order to be reimbursed by Bahamas Air only to be completely ignored by their Customer Service department. So, thank you Bahamas Air for making my vacation cost me an extra $450.
