Delta lost bag 6/6 on direct flight PBI->ATL
On 6/6 I traveled direct from PBI to ATL. I had 2 checked bags, only 1 made it. Both were scanned as arrived at ATL. Its possibly stolen.
I filed a lost baggage claim and a out of pocket claim. Delta is suppose to be calling me each day to update me but has only called once. I call every day late in the day to check.
I am told the soonest they will have my claim processed is 8 weeks from the day I submitted.
I am a Silver Medallion but I don't think we get any priority, I think Gold and above get their own lost luggage processing desk, not sure.
I had alot of electronics in the bag and they will not reimburse. I also had numerous expensive items such as a $950 Brooks Brothers suit, $325 Allen Edmonds shoes, etc all gone. I am a weekly business traveler, 30 segments this year alone.
This sucks, I just sit here and wait, I have to re-buy a bunch of stuff with no knowledge of if or when I will be reimbursed.
Any advice?
