At the end of last year we were flying with Airarabia from Treviso (Italy). We have been waitig for some time in check-in que and after some time - some of passengers already dispatched the luggage, flight was canceled. Without explanations we were taken to a hotel to wait for next day flight. No other options were offered. In the hotel, which was a good one and we were offered also dinner, breakfast and lunch, we have seen information that we will be collected next day. We have asked for a possibility to contact Airarabia responsible person, but found no one. We have asked for possibility to make a telephone call on Airarabia costs but were denied. (We were denied possibility to make a free phone call also next day from an airport stuff on the check-in counter and information desk. Airarabia representatives were not possible to reach on the ariport.). Next day we finally departed and arrived in Casablanca with 27 hours delay. For us that meant no rent-a-car, no hotel (we've arrived at 2am) and destroyed schedule for holidays. We have complained to
contactus@ariarabia.com already on the day of departure. We've received no answer. When we came back we've got a contact email from Casablanca. Another email was sent and no answer received.
Could someone suggest what steps should I take now? Are we entitled to compensation due to late flight cancellation and 27 hours delay? How about denied possibility of phone call?
