EL AL are disgusting. International flight as small as domestic SAA. A woman cut her foot open on metal jutting out of seat at floor. Another woman with a baby in distress pressed button to call attendant and nobody came at all. No drinks were served. Totally understaffed. Bad staff attitude. Food disgusting. Ancient aircraft - old gum stuck everywhere. Dirty tissues lying everywhere. Below legal requirement for staff to Pax ratio.
Luggage lost for 3 days. Was sent to another country by mistake. No apology. I was promised total refund on clothing purchased for the 3 days. They refunded me less than 1 third of what I spent and I was not at all unreasonable. ANAT GRANIT is a rude cow at EL AL in Israel who does not care at all about customers who did not receive their baggage.

Flying EL AL has been the worst experience of my life. Now I know what it means when they say you get what you pay for. I will gladly pay an extra few thousand rand next time to go Turkish air or ANY other airline but will never again fly EL AL. They are so concerned about their security issues they forget all about their customers. They make you feel like a criminal and treat you like a dog during flight.
Maybe they should stop worrying so much about security and give a little manpower to how they treat their customers. I was made to feel like a stray dog causing a major inconvenience and I had a day in hell. Not to mention 2 days of my expensive holiday spent trying to purchase clothing, cosmetics and toiletries in a foreign country and not knowing where to go. They didn't even care or phone me once. I had to phone them about 5 or 6 times a day.
