My dad recently flew Emirates from JFK to Delhi and his iPad and other electronics were stolen from his checked in luggage (luggage that Emirates made him check in because it was too big to be hand luggage). Emirates refused to do anything - not so much as an apology. This is preposterous considering this was not a case of misplaced or lost baggage but outright theft! What is interesting is that after a simple search on Google I found out that this is a frequent occurrence on Emirates. Anyone else flying Emirates please watch out - with all the choices available today - its probably best to avoid them.
