Thumbs down I'm a security risk

Sent this to every BA email address I could find.


Hi.

I am writing to you as I have found your email address and customer services don’t reply. I know this is not your department however I am hoping that you could look in to it for me.

I recently travelled on one of your flights. Something I do almost every month of the year. This time however my colleague and myself were booked in an exit seat, great when you can’t afford to fly business class! However when we arrived at the airport we were told we were moved a row back to a none exit seat "for security reasons". Obviously I am concerned that over all the years I have flown BA I have been putting you at risk by sitting near the door. I AM SO SORRY. However, and I know this is a failing on my part, I don’t know why I’m a security risk. Maybe you explain why I am a security risk sitting by the door and not a row back? I think the scariest thing is that just the week before I was on this plane I was on a BA Cape Town to Johannesburg flight and sat in the front row near the door, it scares me to think of the risk you were taking.

So when you have looked in to this and have let me know why I am a risk I will stop my company booking any more BA flights and will use Virgin as I don't want to put you in danger.

Also your plane had no reading lights or on board TV on this flight. We were asked to fill in forms for compensation and were told we would receive air miles etc. Obviously this hasn't happened.

Maybe you could look in to this for me?

I am about to book 2 tickets (for me and the colleague who was on this booking) for a cape town to Joburg flight, we normally fly BA, I will hold off booking this until you confirm that I am not a security risk, we can use SAA if you prefer?
