Overcharges for infants
I want to lodge a complaint against British Airways for overcharging for infants. My son-in-law and his wife were traveling on December 24 on a roundtrip from San Francisco to Nairobi, Kenya. When they showed up at the airport to travel on American Airlines Flight 6189, operat ed by British Airways, they were told that there was a charge for two infant children, both under the age of two. To get on the plane, I had to present my credit card for charges totaling $1,460 for the two infants, who traveled without seats. I think this is exorbitant and well over normal charge of 10% of airfare. I have complained to British Airways customer relations -- and have never received an answer.
