We had a prospective grad student visit us and when she got ready to leave they cancelled the flight because of mechanical failure and rebooked her for a later flight. That flight was cancelled because of winds of 65 MPH. When I asked about changing the flight again, I was notified that there would be a $150 change fee as it was an act of nature and they do not change because of acts of nature. PLEASE DON'T EVER TAKE US AIRWAYS. This is not the first time as we were stuck in Phoenix on the tarmack for 45 minutes in 105 degree heat with NO AIR. I will NEVER fly them again and I will encourage others not to fly.
