What good is an airline that cannot get you from point A to B.? I was traveling with my children last weekend and on both our departing and return flights we got stranded in Philadelphia. Excuses were too much air traffic. What a joke do they not plan out the air traffic before they make their schedule and post their flights for the public to purchase? They lied to us, they were rude and unhelpful. I finally decided to take matters in my own hands and get to New York via a train for Philadelphia. Arriving in New York City without luggage or coats since we came from Tampa Florida. On the way back, it was a clear beautiful flying day. The plane coming into Islip New York was delayed. They announced we were all going to miss our connections again in Philadelphia. They could not get the kids and I on a flight that would go out of Philadelphia via Islip so they suggested I take a cab to Kennedy airport which is over and hour away and probably at least $100. They would not be paying for the cost incurred because again it was "air traffic" later I found out it was aircraft maintance. What a joke this airline is. Our trip was ruined, my kids were scared and upset being pushed around like cattle. When we finally got into Philadelphia from Islip late, however with still some time to run to our connecting flight. That flight left early without us!! One lovely lady took mercy on us when she saw my 12 year old hysterical crying. She gave us meal tickets and got us back to the state of Florida to Orlando.......I will Never take US Air again! They are a complete JOKE!
