My husband arrived yesterday morning from Uruguay via Miami to Dallas on AA FLT 439. When he opened his luggage, a baggage handler (most probably in Miami), had obviously opened his luggage, pulled out a bottle of Don Pascual Cabernet Savignon, uncorked it, chuggalugged half of it, replaced the cork and stuck the bottle back in his bag. Lucky for us, it did not leak all over his clothing!! I tried to contact AA. What a joke. I was given a FAX NUMBER by Baggage Claims. No one apparently cares that an employee is not only a thief but is drinking on the job as well. I did send off a letter to the fax number. How unusual. . . no one has contacted us! I don't care about the loss of the wine; I only care that they care about the behavior of their employees! Oh, and I poured out the rest of the wine; Lord only knows what they "added".
