Jet aiways lost our luggage and won't pay for the damage
Her is the email I sent Jet..no reply... and this is after 4 hours spent in their office in Kathmandu
Dear Jet Airways officials
May I remind you that our claim for USD 258 is still outstanding in regard to this incident, when passengers Anne Raynsford and Victoria Neumark Jones were left without luggage from 1 April 2012, when they boarded a Kingfisher Airlines jet at Heathrow (to which they had been re-routed by Jet Airways, due to an earlier Jet airliner failure) until the evening of 6 April, when the travel company Exodus sent them by porter to a camp in the Himalaya in Bhutan.
That is SIX days to be without luggage, necessitating the hire of luggage, porterage and equipment from the travel company, as per the invoice which has already been sent to you by scan. Not to mention the intense personal inconvenience of being without clothes, underclothes and medication for six days.
We took USD 50 as an interim payment but that is by no means sufficient.
Is this the kind of image that you wish to present to the paying public?
Yours etc
Victoria Neumark Jones
