Flew out of Des Moines a week ago. Checking in at 5:00 am is never a pleasant experience, but the agents really didn't want to be there. Just such cold customer service and demeanor. Do not understand why employees must be so cold. Six years ago, I booked a flight to Florida from Chicago - and mistakenly booked it for mid-February instead of mid-March. Didn't realize it till we were at the check-in window in March! The ticket agents helped my family find a new flight for the following day - no extra charge! I do not see that happening anywhere today.
